May 18, 2008 - I have to say...when I'm up there...the only thing that helps me going is the laughter...regardless of whether they are laughing at me or out of pity...and although such laughter is music to my ears while I am performing...I cry to myself as I watch myself on tape over and over again...a vicious cycle...because no matter how bad I feel afterwards...when the pain and the humilation subside...I need to get back up there to try again...and if that is not comical...what is?
