*STORY IN DESCRIPTION*Joe hugged her around her stomach and said,"Happy birthday, Steffi."She started crying with joy [I know, corny] and ran up to her friends, giving everyone there huge hugs. She sat down at the seat that was especially set up for her at the head of the table and spent the next hour talking with everyone and generally having a good time. The cake was brought out, with the Jonas Brothers starting the traditional 'happy birthday' song and Allie, Lucy, and her parents joining in. She blew out all 17 candles, and the presents were brought out; there was a huge pile of them. She opened the ones from her parents and from the Carmichaels first so they could get off the phone and the Webcam. She thanked both sets of parents; she had gotten two iTunes gift cards from them. When first her parents and then the Carmichaels disconnected, Steffi let out her breath."Finally. I thought they would be on for forever."The group laughed and relaxed a little more than they had before with the parents' present. Steffi moved on to the rest of her huge pile of presents."Open ours first!" Lucy and Allie chorused.Rolling her eyes, Steffi consented and tore away the wrapping paper covering a gigantic box. Two layers of paper and three box-inside-a-boxes later, Steffi opened up a medium-sized box to find a beautiful white sundress with a red ribbon tie around the waist. She held it up in awe—she had been admiring it the day before the concert but didn't have enough cash with her at the time to buy it. After carefully replacing it in the box, she ran over and grabbed her two best friends in a hug. She released them after a minute and went back to her present pile. Jason walked up and handed her his gift, saying,"Sorry, I couldn't find any decent Jimmy Two's at such short notice. I hope these'll do instead."She unwrapped the package to find two pairs of Prada shoes—one sophisticated black pair and another, more whimsical emerald pair with a fabric flower on it and a peep-toe. She gasped, seeing both pairs, and covered her mouth. Her eyes darted from the shoes to Jason, and back to the shoes."How did you get these?" she asked in a shocked voice. Jason smiled and answered,"Well, my mom's tight with one of the designers, remember? Plus, Chris helped out a little. This is like a joint present from both of us."Steffi smiled at both of them and put the shoes down (gently) next to the dress. She then turned to the Jonases. OH, SNAP, SURPRISE PARTY! HER FRIENDS GOT HER AMAZING PRESENTS—WHAT GIRL CAN RESIST A FABULOUS DRESS AND TWO PAIRS OF PRADA SHOES? NOW IT'S THE JONAS' TURN...HOW WELL ARE THEY GOING TO BE ABLE TO PICK OUT PRESENTS FOR HER? WILL JOE SPRING SOMETHING AS PART OF HIS PRESENT?
