Jeremy Fisher performs part of Scar That Never Heals from Goodbye Blue Monday with back-up vocal help from Serena Ryder. Performed during the second half of the JUNO Award's Songwriters' Circle on April 6th, 2008 in Jack Singer Concert Hall, Calgary, Alberta.Apologies for it cutting short, the memory card was full.The event:MCed by Jian Ghomeshi and hosted by Joel Plaskett. With performances in the first half by Jeremy Fisher, Serena Ryder, AlexCuba and Joel Plaskett. Performing in the second half were Tegan Quin, Bedouin Soundclash's Jay Malinowski, Corb Lund, and Joel Plaskett.All seven musicians were 2008 JUNO nominees. They shared anecdotes and sometimes explained the stories behind a few of their hit songs. All performances were acoustic.Organized by The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), presented by the Canadian Music Publishers Association (CMPA) and the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN). Proceeds from Songwriters' Circle benefit CARAS' music education program, MusiCan.
