Frustrated with being broke young gang leader and aspiring local drug kingpin Beans (Beanie Sigel) decides that the only way to grasp the American Dream is to take it. State Property follows Beans and his crew the ABM (All 'Bout Money) as they take over the city creating mayhem as their empire builds. Struggling to maintain his family life while coming up against both rival gangsters and the police Beans begins to learn that a life of crime comes with dire consequences. Things finally come to a head when he cannot surpass the city's most notorious crew run by Untouchable J (Jay-Z) and 'Boss' Dame (Damon Dash).
